Probably the most famous and traditional restaurant for Anagomeshi in Miyajima area, almost everyone will recommend this restaurant to try if you are in Miyajima. Plus with their prime location, which definitely adds to their advantage.

Acidracines - Decent pâtisserie but disappointing for us

Another Pâtisserie that I am excited to try during our Japan trip last year, as it is very highly rated on Tabelog (3.88 as of the time of writing this post). We went there straight after our visit to Osaka Castle, since it is around the vicinity.

%Arabica needs no introduction, they are probably one of the most popular cafes in Kyoto.

A popular Hida Beef Yakiniku restaurant in Takayama, and quite affordable for wagyu and even so for the A5 grade too!

This is one of the splurge meals of our trip, and we regretted that we didn’t splurge more.
